trackback
A view of downtown North Adams which always catches my eye:
My preferred shot would be with my 16mm lens from the middle of the road, but I’m chicken to go stand out there with my back to oncoming traffic…
You can really see the terrain. What if you bought an official looking reflective vest? I’d be afraid of traffic too.
Eileen, I’ve got the reflective vest, a hard hat and some bigass cones, but the local police frown on traffic obstructors trying to pull the wool over their eyes by pretending to be official! π
Afraid of traffic. Haven’t I seen a pic of you topping out on a highball boulder problem. Yer gettin older and wiser.
The “wiser” part is hotly debated in places where I’m better known…
I really like that. Reminds me of the view out the window of the art gallery I used to manage.
Cuz, you’re a veritable Renaissance Man! π And yeah, mine looks like the hill-town version of yours. π
Flatiron buildings have always been some of my favorites too. It’s a great picture but not worth getting flattened for.
I totally agree – I can look at it for the rest of my life, or photograph it for… the rest of my very short life! π¦
My Mim and Pip (French Canadian for Grandmother and grandfather) lived in the top floor of this building for many years. I remember it well. Thanks for your excellent photo.
