LOLma!!
😉
are those divorced pushme-pullyas?
lol
Why, I do believe they are!
cool. there are a few llama farms around here. i knew a guy about 10 years ago that had a herd. the babies are too cute but the adults will spit at you if they get po’d.
i love the pictures especially the cows!
hehehehe…I’m waiting for that Cool Cat on the deck photo.
If you have a scanner and know how to use it, I’d love to have you scan for me some photos of The Girls when they were little.
Llamas!!!!!!
Are those Fernando Llamas?
Tschuss!
Frau B, these were too small for Fernandos – perhaps they’re of the Dolly variety?
And PS, my scanner is capricious and refuses to talk to my ‘puterbox. Go figure – they’re both HP, you’d think they’d speak the same language!!! And HP says (in a very heavy Indian accent) that it’s a problem with a missing Windows file, so gee, they’re just not responsible for the problem.
But I will swallow my pride and do something to get that CC photo up. It’s another classic example of what a fool I can be! LOL
We used to see llamas right up where we turn on Hwy 290 to go into Austin. I think they have moved them out now because I suspect the land has been sold for a big housing development. 😦
I couldn’t tell the size from the photo so I’ll have to take your word that they aren’t Fernandos. They do, however, looooooook mahvelous!
I have finally added some images from the new digital camera to the blog. I’m kinda getting the hang of it.
Tschuss!
kona, sad news indeed! In my local travels/hunt for images, I’ve encountered half a dozen llama herds, each a surprising sight here in staid old New England, but logical enough given their natural habitat and winter-hardiness.
Frau B, Good Gurrrl! I’ll check them out!
I need those! As in, I am in need of a closer shot of those cuties- indulge me? Llamas are my FAVOURITE.
‘k, Young’un. Gimme a couple of days to get them, but they’re yours!
Darling Elder Progeny,
It’s “favorite”. We’re sending you to that fancy ‘merican school so you can spell it the English way??? heh heh
Cuz, I just posted a story that your photo reminded me of.
And an interesting one, too! 🙂
PS, I’m one who occasionally slips an errant “u” into words such as “favourite” and “colour,” on the off chance that someone may mistake me for an educated, worldly person.
But in EP’s case, I consider it to be practice for Herself becoming just exactly that!
And really, we do call it “English,” don’t we?
English is just a quaint throw back to the old days. We speak American, which bears a strong resemblance to English. The rest of the world considers English and American 2 distinct languages.
Tschuss!
Don’t be a hater! 😉 I’m all about the aesthetics, and I can’t help that most words look better with random English[real English]-esque ‘u’s sandwiched in the middle. Plus, the profs at this high-fallutin’ school don’t much seem to mind.
I’m holding my breath for those pictures, Dad. I could use a cheer up in this gloomy weather.
Frau B, my hug-buddy Nick, a Brit, has a friend back across “The Big Pond” who’s a translator.
He translates American books into English. I shit you not!
So you’re “Correct as usual, Queen Friday!”
And EP, your extra “u”s make me feel like I’m wearing my impeccably tailored silk smoking jacket… LOL!
😆
You have llamas? cool!
