Our zinnias have been hosting some winged guests recently. I caught these images of them today:
…and:
Both of these were taken with Gizmo and a 2X Tele-Extender from twelve to fifteen feet away, allowing me to get compressed close-ups without disturbing our guests. 🙂
Beautiful zinnias and beautiful butterflies. The zinnia where the butterfly rests in the bottom photo is the color I’m always trying to find in lipstick and nail polish. I have many shades the tiptoe around the edges of that color, but it’s never quite right.
Mother Nature is hard to copy exactly.
That’s a dangerously hot color, woman – be careful what you wish for! 😉
