My insurance company appreciates my investment in lenses which allow me to photograph these without piling extension ladders atop my car, as those of you who have visited here in past years might recall.Ā š
These Spring beauties are fading, but if the weather cooperates we’ll soon have a whole new list of wildflowers sprouting in the meadows.

j, sorry to hear that. Perhaps an infusion of a few specimens living in similar microzones is in order? I know some states have rules against picking and transplanting, but efforts to assure local populations can’t be wrong, regardless of the broad statutes written by well-meaning bureaucrats…
