Very pretty. I never knew that was periwinkle. I thought all this time they were violets. I love the image against the black background.

This photo brings memories of childhood… the entrance to the woods behind our house was always carpeted with periwinkle each spring.

I miss the periwinkles that surrounded our place in Portland but these woodland beauties are even better.
