Sheep dig dinner at a farm in upper Shelburne:

Lambs, too:

The adults were wonderfully protective of this little one, and boxed her in when she seemed inclined to come investigate me:

She disappeared from view just after I snapped this photo.

Very aware, these farm animals are.

She’s smiling at you, CR!

Not that I ever eat it anyway, but no way I can chomp down on veal now.

I love the one where she’s smiling at you! Brought a smile to my morning.

Cuz, they do, when they can get it! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Lisa, sure looked that way to me – but I’m a little big for her…

Randal, veal is cow babies; lamb, as in “rack of,” is sheep babies. I bet you knew that, and were just passing a brainstone.

Susan, isn’t that the truth – how can you not smile while looking at that? ๐Ÿ™‚

I have to agree: Baby’s smile is too sweet! Overall you caught great expressions. Nice work, Pops. I miss the animals out yonder and so appreciate these little gifts from you..:)
