More rain came down on the ride home from Chesterfield. It didn’t really pour, it just spat. Much of the drive was shrouded in clouds, with landscapes and details appearing and disappearing like friendly phantasms:
A view down Apple Valley Road in Ashfield.
It’s turning tomorrow as I type this, and has been gently raining off and on for hours.
If you’re a lawn or garden, that’s great news. 🙂
Did you know there is an ad for Whirlpool at the bottom of your post??
It’s been muggy…
Gina, I’m not seeing it – perhaps it’s happening at your end of things?
I love foggy and/or misty weather.
And this photo.
Cuz, I hope you get your share of it down in CR – some of your pictures suggest that it is so!
The soft shades of green and blue make the scene almost otherworldly.
Hi susan, and yes, it was indeed “otherworldly” – in fact, this photo is such a poor representation of what I was seeing that I almost didn’t stop to take it. Sometimes just looking at the world trumps photographing it.
As usual, I really like the way you divide the page. Lovely angles and proportions throughout.
Thanks, Steve. I was attempting to get the edge of the road to originate in the corner of the frame without centering the larger tree, and though I didn’t get exactly the composition I was looking for, it came out passably well.
