Walking around in Catamount State Forest this past weekend, I came across this little cascade which asked me to take its picture:

I thought it would be rude of me to say “No.”  😉

Susan, yeah, it has that “fairytale feel,” doesn’t it?

And Gina, that’s just a long (perhaps three seconds?) exposure on a tripod – yours will do the same thing, more or less. I got lucky with the composition though, catching an errant ray of sunlight on the rocks to generate a bit of color. And for full disclosure, I brought the exposure up in Photoshop, as it was a bit dark right out of the box. No funny stuff, though – that’s the photo I took.
