…At the confluence of the North River and the Deerfield, last Sunday.  It was hot, but not too, and there were lots of people cooling off:

Well, there were dozens, and around here that’s a lot.

Ursi, my younger Grrrl, was visiting from Boston.  We lounged in the sun and shade, drank a little wine, ate like piggies, and both took pictures:

It was lovely and relaxing and a much-needed time for reconnection.

When my California sister used to visit us in New Hampshire, she could never get over the fact that we could go for wonderful hikes to places like this and not have to fight the crowds she was used to seeing.

Lovely photos, reminding me of some lovely times. Keep the water photos coming, can’t get enough, I’m parched down here in the desert.

Is that river nymph really our baby?? Sigh…

She had a fun time. So glad you two got together. I loved my Saturday with her, as well.

Yes, a fine weekend, you and she, she and me. The weather cooperated and the company was ideal.

And yeah, she’s our baby! How cool is that!?!?!?

In the north of England there’s a river called the Wier nearby where my grandparents lived. These pictures remind me of that lovely place.

You two do indeed have lovely daughters 🙂
