Two shots from the Bridge of Flowers, where this evening’s incessant winds all but foiled my feeble attempts to get something viewable in the box:

The day was dim and chilly and sent me packing sooner than I would have liked.

And wouldn’t you know, the sun came out as I drove away.

Wisteria is wonderful! It’s so delicate looking – but so tough.

Love the wisteria there. Yeah, the wind has sucked for taking pictures. I found a gorgeous patch of lady slippers on a walk in the woods around Lake Pleasant the other day and got some very mediocre results. Will have to get back there soon. If the wind ever dies down, that is.

Thanks, Gina. I used to not like wisteria, but it’s grown on me. šŸ˜‰

Yes, I’ve been stymied by the incessant wind, and now there’s a freeze warning for the next two nights…

Good luck to the precocious wildflowers which braved the dates in favor of the temperatures. And good luck to you as you look to photograph The Wild Things!
