Mount Monadnock, Southern New Hampshire’s proudest prominence, looms large on our Northeastern skyline:

It’s a strong hour’s drive from here, perhaps a bit more if one tends to obey the law, but pulled in tight by the magic of Gizmo, my 400mm L-series lens.

I kinda liked the shot, and hope you do as well.

Yes, Vikki, it is. I struggle with the idea of being somewhere else, which might be in the offing.

My heart and history is here, but it’s a big world, and I have to keep myself open to it.
