Moon Study. December 5, 2009

A couple of monochromatic moon shots:

and…

I like the effect of that latter shot, as though the moon were somehow between us and the clouds.

And two nights later, the moonlight had a different hue, a bit more reddish.  Just before moonrise:

… and later, when the gibbous orb actually presented itself:

It was good to see.

I love your moon photos. I am also incredibly envious. Of course, if I even learned how to use the features on the camera I have that would help. Keep them coming.

I was driving home from teaching classes Friday night, and the moon had just cleared the mountains east of here. Made me think of you and your photography… and here you both are. 🙂

What a wonder, eh? That we’ve made this connection over all these miles.

I value that a lot.

Good luck with the space-hunting, I’ve been in it for a while and know that it’s not always easy.
