The Last Ruby Tuesday Of 2008! December 29, 2008

Posted by littlebangtheory in Art and Nature, Ruby Tuesday!.

…on a Monday night, no less, ’cause tomorrow is likely to be laundry night, and I might not get to it ’till you kiddles are all asleep!

Anyway, a country shed:

That’s Ruby, right?

And a Ruboid barn door, displaying a bit of Farm Humor:

And, um, let’s see…  how about a Berkshire Bomb Shelter?

Not too many of those around these days!   I wonder how they charge it…

And I’ll end this as we’ll all end this, with a visit with Uncle Dirtnap:

That’s the little cemetery up at Puddin’ Holler.  They’ve got a great view of Eternity from up there.

Thanks to Mary at Work Of The Poet for this cool little meme!

Oh these are so terrific!! I love them! They’re kind of quirky like my ruby red mail box! Thanks as always, glad you found the time to give us all a treat. Have a good week!

The top photo is gorgeous! And the others arent’ half bad either…;) Those telephone boxes are so sweet, living in a far too modern land (in some aspects) we never see such precious oldfashioned things anymore. Come to think of it, it must be ages since I saw even a modern telephone box, the curse of the cellphone…:/

Happy New Year, with hopefully many more above moments to be captured by camera!

Where in the world is that phone booth? It looks English.

These are Ruby heaven! Drop-dead beautiful photography!

6. littlebangtheory - December 31, 2008

Why Thank you, M’Dear! 🙂

The Box is in the center of Rowe, MA, USA. Not much English in them hills.

And hey, I checked out your photo blog, some really cool shots there!

Mer and I are heading over to Lizz and Holly’s for oysters and Champagne and some Mojo Nixon as the ball drops; SG1 will be glad to get out of the house, and those ladies will be a good connection for her.

Happy New Year, Gina. And I’ll talk to you soon.

I love the shed! We do have several of those red phone booths around us – they are in front of travel businesses – and fun to photograph. 🙂
