So last night was busy, and I got distracted.

And you didn’t get t see what I saw, because I didn’t post it.

Sorry.  I’m feeble like that.

But I did save the pictures, in case I should come around, and I have, and here they are.

Heaven, as sampled from the evening sky over Mount Greylock:

…and Hell, as depicted from a hilltop two miles away, all glittery and seductive:

Both courtesy of Gizmo, thank you sir!

Gorgeous!

Well, the snow pix gives me the shivers, but it is beautiful.

From a distance.

🙂

BTW, I did not change location/url address. Simply changed the template.

Later!

Breathtaking! You do know how to use that sucker! Thanks for a bright spot in a freezing cold, icy, miserable evening!

Well Hill, I changed my link, and I now get directly to ya, so everything is copacetic!

Thanks for stopping by, you’re nearly a stranger in these parts!

…well, at least my dog grumbled…

…and Sylvia, I’m learning to “see” with it, which I believe to be the first step. Beyond that, I need to appreciate the limits of the lens – some of these long a shots seem hazy to me, and I’m not quite sure if I should chalk it up to atmospheric conditions, or what!

Heaven looks heavenly. Hell does not look hellish at all. It looks wonderful!

that second image just plain takes my breath away

wow!

Actually the hill in the background in the “Hell” image is a really cool graveyard that wraps around the hill and is bisected by the road. I haven’t walked around it yet, but I’m intrigued.

Tschuss!

Yes. Frau B, it’s one of the coolest ‘yards around, with tons of relief and lots of tumbledown stones.

In the full-sized file, it’s astonishingly detailed for being nearly two miles away!
