Coming Home. December 18, 2008

Short days make for few photos after work; there’s just not much light.

But I snagged some anyway, such as they are.

A lone tree watches the sun go down on Mount Greylock:

A detail, with Gizmo, of the Fire on the Mountain:

And finally, Dusk:

Then home for dinner.

That is all.

Love that top photo… Nice placement of the tree – great shape of tree (oh, I guess you don’t get most of the credit for the shape of the tree – I think that’s a primary difference between photos and paintings – the artist can shape the tree anyway she/he wants – for good or ill, credit or blame).

I’m hungry. I think it was your next posts, about the interesting non-American greens over pasta… Nice colors in those shots – lotsa orange. I can’t get enough orange this time of year…
