Ruby Tuesday! November 24, 2008

OK, so it’s Monday, but I’m fading and certainly won’t  a) be up at midnight, or  b) have time to do this tomorrow morning, so here goes!

I saw a Raspberry Sunrise this morning:

I’m happy to say that I did nothing to that image beyond cropping and resizing it.  Yeah, it looked just like that.

Here’s a mid-day shot of wintergreen berries, with even their leaves gone red with Autumn:

And a big red barn against a big blue sky:

Thanks to Mary at Work of the Poet for this whimsical meme!

Hi RC, I like your sunset. Happy Ruby Tue!

8. Spartacus - November 29, 2008

Heh…what’s with all the red? Are you some kind of commie? Nice photos, CR. You are a master.

9. littlebangtheory - November 29, 2008

Spart, I’d be a Card-Carrying Commie if only I could keep track of that damned card…

Too kind, Sir!

Jim, welcome to my place. I’m an intermittent RT Guy, but my inability to delay gratification means that I usually post my pics when they come in, and so don’t always have anything “ruby” in the bank. But I’m trying…

10. Miranda - December 8, 2008

Great shots!, love the sunrise.

11. Ralph - December 8, 2008

The sunrise has the look of pomegranate as well, a stunning wake-up for the day. The berries and barn add even more to the ruby theme. All nice shots!

My first Ruby Tuesday.

Thank you, Ladies! I’m tryin’, really I am! 😉

And yes, Cherie, it stopped me in my tracks and instigated some semi-legal automotive maneuverings, but I couldn’t pass it up!

22. Julia - January 1, 2009

Beautiful shots and each one.

23. Julia - January 7, 2009

I love all the shots but the barn is my favorites as I am partial to them.

24. Linnea - January 27, 2009

Wow! Just wonderful shots for the day. I love how you captured the berries. They look so regal. And the sunrise, oh my, we don’t see skies like that around here. Lucky you! Enjoy the day.

25. Ginger - February 11, 2009

All beautiful shots, very worthy of Ruby Tuesday.

26. maryt/theteach - February 11, 2009

Okay, cunning runt, I want to know the details of your being in love… Com’on do tell! Happy Valentine’s Day and Happy Ruby Tuesday!

Mary, I’m spilling the beans a teaspoon at a time here at LBT. I have a history of being a fool for passion, and I’m trying not to get ahead of myself.

Check in once in a while, I feel my heart about to bust open…
