This week, Honkittehz!

It’s not often that kittehz loves some water!

That is one thing about living in Anchorage. There are a number of waterfowl here. Valdez was better, though. 🙂

‘A number,” eh? Like, with several zeros after it? 😉

we have tons of those here, just ton’s. they have developed a city pigeon attitude and will stand in the middle of a road or parking lot or your lawn with that FU look in their eyes!

4. Randal Graves - September 26, 2008

I’m so glad you almost always follow up a blood-boiling political post with something as wonderful and soothing as nature pictures. 🙂

Beautiful shot! And I agree with Randal, you do know how to soothe the feathers — and not just the ducks! Thanks! Hackers got me yesterday, so I have a new email address, but my blog is the same.

sherry, I had an episode some years ago, maybe twenty-five, which I still remember:

a Honkitteh lived at a farmhouse I frequently drove by, and always challenged my car, charging it, pecking at my tires as I drove by, with me freaking out about hurting it.

Well one day it saw me coming and took the middle of the road ahead of me, tacked like a banking airplane, and came STRAIGHT AT ME, HEAD ON, in a game of “chicken” Goose.

If there were any justice in the world I’d have had goose that night, but this nascent Buddhist stopped and had to roll up my windows to keep my eyes in their sockets.

They’re brutal!!!

…and Randall, it’s The Curse of The Well Rounded Runt. I’m transfixed by the charms of Mother Earth (how Oedipal!) but distracted by the tribulations of the flesh.

You’re kind to assess my feeble rants as “blood-boiling,” while I’m sure they pale in comparison to your acerbic rants regarding our Current Situation!

Okay, Ralph. Where’s the fuuuuh on this one? I’m expecting to see reptiles in short order.

9. sherry - September 26, 2008

yeah, they are nasty souls when they want to be and they are big!!!!

I love how you got the color of the water. So green.

11. Steve - September 29, 2008

Oooooo. I loves this kinda kittehz! They flies! They eats so much grass they poops green all over the sidewalks! They likes each others very much and makes letters in the sky. Loves ’em.

But that swimmin thing just makes no sense to me. I can buyz flying, green pooping kittehz, but not happy wetted ones. Ain’t right.
