Today’s flowers (yes, I know, I’m not treading any new ground here) began as fog-drenched roadside blossoms
and ended with a brief visit to Miz Lu’s dooryard, where wonders abound:
It’s always a pleasure to stop by the Rolling J Farm, whether for an anti-mosquito elixer or just for the flowers.
Well, hopefully, I won’t be repeating myself. Butterflies and Echinacia! What could be better? (I can’t grow this here!)
You gave me a delightful way to start my morning. Thank you. These photos are beautiful.
oh the 1st. picture!!!! oh yes!
hey, c.r. do you know what that butterfly is? i keep seeing them. and i think they are fritillaries..cuz i think they’re too big to be painted ladies… i love to put a name to things. makes me feel like i’m a great discoverer… your photos are sweet. thank-ya.
That first shot is ridiculously groovy.
I love a trip through the flowers.
LF, not a clue about the flutter-by, but if Frau Biergut drops by, she might know – she’s positively encyclopedic!
All Youz Others, Thanks again! đŸ™‚
hiya, could you do me a favor? drop by my blog and see if you think i look like anybody famous or infamous or an elf or something akin to that. thanks!
D’s comment just so reminds me of Tiny Tim….different flowers, but…oh, shit, now I’m going to have that song in me head all day…
And I can’t tell a butterfly from a moth but it’s all groovy anyway. I loved that white flower, with a whisper of pink at its center. Delicate beauty at its best.
Interesting photo of Jerry Miller. Have you heard of the other Jerry Miller who is also a legendary guitarist? Imagine, two guys named Jerry Miller who are both amazing guitarists! The best of the two is from Tacoma Washington, though and has been playing the same guitar (a gibson L-5) since the early 60’s.
