When I’m at work, I can’t access Little Bang Theory because the school’s Crud Filter won’t allow me to. However, I can access Politits. Which is not crud, as we know, but does have, for instance, the word “tits” in it?? Did you flag your blog? Just curious. And I don’t know how those silly firewalls or whatever they’re called, operate.
PS, I haven’t done anything consciously to limit my on-line availability, so I don’t know what your filters are choking on. I’ve certainly been free with my words, and if selecting a few choice nouns or adverbs from the pile labels me “unacceptable,” well, your school might choose to view me that way. I can’t imagine that I’m a Top Offender, but I’ll cop to being a bit out of the main-stream.
Mathman, thanks. Your visits here somehow mean a lot to me. We should talk sometimes about the part of being left which is out of our control, but which we must nonetheless embrace. The world turns, and we have to turn with it.
I found this picture of a night sky on Bing Images. It’s a beautiful shot and I would like to consider using it on a book cover for an ebook called “Something Lyrical for the Night” by Howard M. Cooper. You can see the text of this book at
There would be a small fee for the ebook.
Hoping this reaches the right person! Please let me know about the rights for your picture.
Howard, I’m flattered that you like this photo and would consider using it for your ebook, but I’m sorry to say that the original has been eaten by my computer. I’m in the process of trying to recover my 2008 photos, but have no definite date when that will happen.
Also, your links didn’t come through, so I have no way of corresponding with you directly.
If you care to negotiate these glitches with me, write me at ralphmunn@crocker.com .
