I remember the time my mother “borrowed” one of my father’s sweaters to work in the yard, and left it on a small hook in the basement near a window that was stuck open (Dad had promised to fix it, but a few years had gone by…). Some birds made a nest in the pocket, and Dad was forbidden from retrieving it. I’m sure there is a moral to that story, and probably about sloth, but I could be wrong.
At anyrate, I like your bird’s nest best. The poor deer looks like he is ready to go to a lodge meeting!
Hey, it’s the Secret Lair (aka really old Avalon Trailer)…with addition! And it appears unoccupied, as that those steps have gone untrodden since the snowfall….
A new summer home for me and teh kittehs?
Nice catch on the bird’s nest, and I agree with DCup that it looks like Karzai.
Cuz, this little place is across the street from The Manor House proper. The next reeeeeeeally poor-looking place you see here will be it. It’s so shot-gun it looks like a depression-era movie set.
Ha! We had a family of sparrows take residence in our grill last Spring. The dogs kept barking at it and we thought they were nuts, until the chirping started! Good thing that grill was old and cheap, because we had to throw it away once the family had flown the coop!
That’s fantastic!

I thought the deer looked like Hamid Karzai.
Ten – I love that story!
oh that is just too good!

Hey, a bird’s gotta nest somewhere!
If it isn’t a Fez, is it a Fezn’t?
