Things I see in Nature astonish me, every. friggin. day.
Like this rock surface, with the light just leaving it.
I stood in front of this, amazed, ’till the light had gone. Such a texture!

do you know what kind of rock that is?
Sherry, the mix of minerals looks granitic, but the surface is atypical for granite. I’m taking an educated guess here – granitic gneiss?
I’m so tactile. I love textural photographs like this.
I’ll keep my hands to myself, I promise. As they tell the kids on school field trips….we look with our eyes, not our hands.
