A torrent of tears
freeing the air of its burden,
drunk deeply by dirt,
reborn
a phoenix of fog,
the scent of a woman,
Our Mother Earth.

Thanks! The words popped into my head while I was looking at that photo and trying to divine how I felt about it. I’m usually not a “pastoral” kinda guy, but this was such a beautiful post-rainstorm evening, I felt like I was in a Romantic Age painting.
And yes, we know what we know about each other, and that’s good!
