As flower petals drift away into a rose-hip-blue sky,
As the fruits of the forest fall to ground,
As the Season runs to the sea,
And thistles cast off for distant shores,
The Sun rolls away over the rim of the world,
and I dream
of you.

i love the toad!!!!
Love the toad!
That’s so sweet.
hiya i gave you a kick ass blogger award cause you kick ass.
who else would try to talk reason to some of the folks that you have, besides that, who else put a picture of their ass up at their blog??

I love the snail. I have a special fondness for them…with garlic and herbs…
Seriously, it’s a beautiful photo. They are all really good.
That’s lovely, C.R. I especially love that thistle photo. It does indeed appear ready to fly.
i knew after a long shitty day there was a place i could come to and find some peace and relaxation
I like the waterfall pic.
dc, cool!
DC, PS, thanks for the photo-love. It’s nice when different folks sre interested in different pictures, usually means I got morre than one right per post!
You Toad People (QD?) are funny! She really engaged me during her photo shoot – she was comfortably abundant and at ease, lounging there like I was Paul Gaugan or something!
And Sherry, you’re so kind to think that I was on the ankle end of that boot – those guys were so totally intractable that I felt totally “served” by those encounters. But thanks for the kind and spunky word, and right now I’m gonna have to leave it at that; I’m trying to get a post together to explain my current lack of (ass-kicking) posts.
mathman, you slipped in while I was prattling on in the above response!
I too like the water one. It’s an excerpt from a larger shot which I was preparing to upload when I got the urge to look closer at its component parts. Sometimes I get lucky with that if I have a decent-size file to work with.
Beautiful photographs as always – and the words are also lovely.
I just love it! That toad is the best!
