Not all mushrooms are good to eat; many are just fun to look at.
Like these little specimens:
On the left, Golden Fairy Club (Clavulinopsis laeticolor) and on the right, a Waxy Cap (Hygrophorus of one sort or another – since they’re not food mushrooms, I haven’t learned the minutiae required for exact identification.)
Those little creatures look like they belong under the sea!
Yes, they certainly do! I thought that as well.
i was thinking the same as soon as i saw them, sea creatures!
