Had a good time this past weekend, playing Lame-O. Never put the climbing shoes on, just skulked around, clicking away and trying to make the photo look like the moment did.
My friend Jed on Sugarhouse Rock:
Jake on “When Big Joan Sets Up” at The Steelhead:
Vicarious thrills for this (temporary) bench-sitter!

I love these photos… I am not the climbing type, but I love to be along for the hike and the documenting of it!
Back in my day we climbed rocks made out of shards of broken glass, while it was snowing, and it was uphill both ways.
fairlane Dude, I’m in awe!
Luxury!
We had to climb molten lava flows!
Hey, isn’t that second one the rock on which you was a-climbin’ in that there vid-ee-yo you posted a while back?
Yeppers, Cuz. This time I spectated, and was gratified that the guys loved it! You know,’cause I put a lot of work into it (stone terraces, retaining walls, scraped and scrubbed the rock) and hated to see it not get used!
